Independent art critic and curator

Graduate in Art History by the University of Barcelona, he is currently developing a research in media art combined with his work as art critic and curator. He has written articles and collaborated with several contemporary art and media art magazines and online resources such as art.es (ES), a::minima (ES), Magazine Electronique du CIAC (CA), Leonardo Journal of the International Society for the Arts, Science and Technology (US), ASPECT (US), artnodes (ES), Furtherfield (UK), Rhizome (US) and Vernissage TV (CH), as well as catalogue texts and conference papers. He has curated several media art exhibitions and is particularly interested in the interconnections between art, media, and popular culture.

He has recently curated the exhibitions Metalandscapes (Pilar i Joan Miró Foundation, Mallorca/ Deichtorcenter, Hamburg) and FLOW (CCA Andratx). He has also coordinated at the Miró Foundation in Mallorca the series of conferences Digital Culture (2007) and En_lloc [Now_here]. Dialogues among art, territory and technology (2009).

Currently works as editor of the media art section in art.es contemporary art magazine.
