What is virtualWOMEX?

virtualWOMEX is the virtual trade fair for world music on the internet - open the whole year round. Present yourself, your employees and your company through the internet to the professional WOMEX network - the standard for everybody in the world music business.

What is the relationship between WOMEX and virtualWOMEX?

virtualWOMEX is a service of WOMEX. It is developed, moderated and maintained by the IT department of WOMEX. Companies attending the yearly WOMEX get a free full access to virtualWOMEX for a year. You don't have to register for WOMEX however, to take part in virtualWOMEX (and vice versa). But virtualWOMEX can be very useful for companies attending WOMEX to network further with the partners they meet at the trade fair. Similarly, companies registered only for virtualWOMEX can develop relationships with others before a possible meeting at the annual WOMEX.

Who can register to virtualWOMEX?

Everybody who has a deeper interest in world music or works or wants to work in the world music business, can and should participate in the virtualWOMEX business network and marketplace. We don't investigate every registration but we have the right to reject a registration if we feel that the company doesn't fit with our community.
