LabforCulture is an autonomous project initiated and hosted by the European Cultural Foundation (ECF). LabforCulture works with and for artists, arts and culture organisations and networks, cultural professionals, and audiences in all of the countries of the broader Europe and between Europe and the rest of the world. Our mission is to 1) ensure that all those working on cultural collaborations have access to up-to-the-minute information and 2) to encourage the cultural sector to become more experimental with online technologies.

Tasks:

• Editor-in-Chief of LabforCulture.org
• Oversee and coordinate the LabforCulture Editorial Group
• Coordinate content, web design, technical releases and translation in collaboration with the technical developer
• Manage user-generated content and user relations with the Editorial Group
• Develop online events and projects
• Develop and lead LabforCulture training sessions and workshops
• Edit the LabforCulture newsletter

Profile:

• Higher Education or University degree in relevant field of expertise (preferably combining culture/arts and ICT)
• Experience in new media and online publishing (minimum 3 years of professional experience)
• Extended knowledge and working experience with content management systems, especially in the cultural, artistic and/or non-profit field
• Work experience with online tools (portals, websites, blogs, forums, wikis, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience in the European cultural sector
• Strong written communication skills
• Fluent in English and one other European language

We offer:

• A 12 month full time contract with 8% holiday allowance and 13th month – with a view on prolongation.
• Salary, commensurate with experience, ranges from Euro 2.800 – 3.920 gross per month.
