The observatory's aim is to capture the perception of current culture's status and trends, and to gather indicators to be able to describe a specific vision of the cultural scene. Run by Fundación Contemporánea, it has an advisory panel of experts in various cultural disciplines: writers, artists, actors, heads of foundations, museum directors, publishers, filmmakers, musicians, architects, gallerists, exhibition curators, cultural managers etc.
