Vanini Belarmino is a producer, curator and cultural journalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from the University of the Philippines and pursued graduate studies in art history, cultural policy and management. She earned a post-graduate degree in European Cultural Project Management from the Marcel Hicter Foundation in Brussels, Belgium.

Vanini is the Founder and Managing Director of Belarmino&Partners, an international cultural project management company, established in Berlin, March 2008, and in Singapore, April 2011. Within this framework, she curated ZENSORS Germany (2008) and Philippines (2009), an interdisciplinary exchange supported by the Japan Foundation and Asian Cultural Council. In 2007, she joined Walkscreen and the Akademie der Künste in leading the EU-art-peace project Challenging Walls in Israel and Palestine. While working for the Asia-Europe Foundation (2003-2007), she was responsible for the establishment and creative branding of its performing art programs: I’mPULSE (music) and Pointe to Point (dance) as well as the management of ASEMUS (Asia-Europe Museum Network). She has spearheaded projects in China, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Ireland, Japan, Palestine, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, United Kingdom and Vietnam.

She also works as a cultural correspondent for various publications and online platforms like the Korean Arts Management Services’ the Apro , Culture 360 and Hub City for Asian Culture’s project, Culture Asia and Runthru Dance Magazine. Vanini is a grant recipient of the Asian Cultural Council (2009), Japan Foundation (2008 and 2009) and a fellow of International Society for the Performing Arts (2009/2012).

Vanini is a consultant for the public programmes at the Marina Bay Sands ArtScience Museum

She currently lives in Singapore with a large part of her creative heart residing in Berlin.
