The UNESCO Observatory refereed e-­‐journal, Multi-­‐Disciplinary Research in  the Arts, is based within the Faculty of  Architecture, Building and Planning at The University of Melbourne. The e-­‐journal is a clearing house of research which serves to  improve practice in the arts, influence policy making, and benefit the integration of the arts in formal and non-­‐formal educational systems across communities, regions and ountries.

This special edition of the  journal will be edited by Dr Lucas Walsh and Rosalyn Black from The Foundation for Young Australians.
