Die schöpferische Arbeit von Rita Kashap ist geprägt durch ihr besonderes
Verhältnis zu Traditionen und zur Geschichte, zur Kunst vergangener Jahre,
aber auch zur Gegenwart...Für die Werke der Künstlerin ist die malerische
Energie des farbenreichen Raumes, die eigene Formen und Gestalten erschafft,
charakteristisch: die Gemälde sind geprägt von ihrem ganz eigenen Gefühl für
Harmonie, die prallen Gesten und farbigen Bewegungen, die in ihnen
herrschen, sind mal breit - expressiv, mal ruhig und gemessen.
Neben der intensiven Arbeit im Bereich der Malerei hat Rita Kashap das Genre
der Grafik niemals aufgegeben. Am Rande dieser beiden künstlerischen
Elemente balancierend, die jede nach ihren eigenen Gesetzen funktionieren,
findet sie die Punkte der Berührungen für beide, und das ist eben Poesie.
Ganz folgerichtig wird der Zyklus ihrer neuesten Arbeiten unter
dem Titel "Hommage an Friedrich S." präsentiert.
Die Malerin entbietet ihre Achtung einem gewissen Friedrich S., wobei sie
sehr schlau und sehr weiblich die bezeichnete Person mit einem
durchsichtigen Schleier bedeckt. Nur der erste Buchstabe seines Namens wird
offenbart.
Kabale und Liebe, die Ode an die Freude, Anmut und Würde, naive und
sentimentalische Dichtung, alles was in dem Zyklus neuer expressiver
Arbeiten ihren Ausdruck findet, weist hin auf den Schöpfer und Inspirator
und sein philosophisch-poetisches Erbe, dass die Malerin begeistert hat.

„Ich bin seit 2002 Wahlberlinerin und ordne ich mich der Tradition nach der russischen Kultur zu. Die Deutsche Romantik und Philosophie ist für mich eine Wurzel in einem
neuen Leben. Mit den neuesten Bildern zeige ich keine Illustration zu Werken des großen
Dichters. Vielmehr weise ich auf meine Verbundenheit mit seinem geistigen Werk hin.“

Rita Kashap’s creative work is characterized by its special relationship between traditions, history, present and art from previous years… In respect to the work of the artist, the picturesque energy of the richly colorful spaces is creating its own forms and shapes:  the paintings are characterized by their own sense of harmony, the rebounded  gestures and the colorful movements that prevail in them are wide views - expressive, sometimes calm and measured. Besides her intense work in the field of painting, Rita has never given up the genre of the graphic. On the edge of these two artistic balanced elements, which work under their own laws, she manages to find the tangency points for both, and that is exactly what we could call “poetry”.  

The cycle of her latest work, entitled "Tribute to Frederick S."  is to be consequential. The artist dedicated her esteem to a certain Frederick S., about whom she is very smart and feminine, and the named person is being covered with a transparent veil. Only the first letter of his name is revealed.

Intrigue and love, the ode to joy, grace and dignity, naive and sentimental poetry, all these can be found  in the cycle of the new expressive works . Nevertheless, these elements point to the creator, to the instigator, and to his philosophical and poetic legacy that has inspired the artist .

 Artist’s statement:

„I have chosen Berlin since 2002 and I have followed the  tradition according to the Russian culture. The German Romanticism and philosophy are for me a root in a new life. With the latest pictures I don’t show any illustrations to the works of the great poet. In fact, I refer to my attachment to his spiritual work. “
