It provides training and opportunities to enable people to use their creative and entrepreneurial abilities more fully for the benefit of society.

The SSE runs practical learning programmes that aim to develop the individual entrepreneur and their organisation. It believes that social change is people-powered, and that the most valuable assets and resources are human ones.
