It holds information on books, magazines, posters, journals, sound recordings, videos, etc. (both digital or non-digital) in 20 languages. Searching is free and delivers digital objects, some free and some at a cost.The European Library gives access to 150 million entries across Europe and the amount of referenced digital collections is constantly increasing. The European Library portal replaces the previous Gabriel Library resource.
