The website, written entirely in English, aims to inform the international visitor about contemporary Flemish arts and culture, as well as providing an international events calendar and a quarterly newsletter. Initiated by four major Flemish cultural organisations (The Flanders Music Centre, Vlaams Theater Instituut, BAM - Institute for visual, audiovisual and media art, and VIA - Flemish Architecture Institute), it is supported by the Flemish Community. It gives a comprehensive overview on Flamish artistic production and the cultural scene in Flanders.
