An ongoing investigation of the connection between the Indian metropolis Calcutta and Finnmark County in northern Norway, the website presents a growing archive of texts, images, sounds and other ways of documenting or "reading" a place or a landscape, as well as a weblog. Testing and expanding the concepts of rural and urban, peripheral and central, the reading is an active process, requiring imagination, knowledge, idiosyncratic experiences and happy coincidences. It is located somewhere between art, philosophy and literature.
