J. Kimo Arbas - founder & director of the Grand Duchy™ transmedia solutions™...
Kimo Arbas, a conceptual artist from Los Angeles engaged in transmedia storytelling thru motion picture, vocals and sound composition, rhyme, performance, fine art and space related works. He is concerned mostly with content, form, style, and purpose.
Arbas has recently completed another enhanced audio CD, a motion picture with sound track album, mass media performance and installation work in Australia, Los Angeles, New York, European Union, Ukraine and the Caucuses.
Kimo Arbas is interested in commissioned projects and similar collaborations, building think tanks and strategic symbiosis.
This is clear in his works curated by Jonas Mekas, Karen Atkinson, John Burgan, Jay Leno, Leo Smith and Dj Babu among others, in multiple genres and media. This is a continuation of his interdisciplinary work since earning degrees from CalArts (in film, fine art, music) and University of the Arts - Berlin (in avant-garde film design). As a polyglot Kimo Arbas works comfortably on a global level by speaking the English, German and Lithuanian languages fluently. Apparent in the fact that most of his current and completed projects are international cooperations including two or more nations. Arbas is committed to ambitious, large scale, symbiotic and efficient projects thru creative consultation, leadership and concept solutions.
