I am 28 years old and since March 2009 I work for a young art gallery near Milan, the Bonelli ArteContemporanea (www.bonelliarte.com). The gallery is focused on new trends in the Italian contemporary art scene and is regularly scouting new proposal worldwide. Among my duties, I would like to recall the following ones: assistance to collections and to collectors requests (restoration consulting, transport, lay-out of artworks, registration in archives, framing and lighting); update and communication of activities, articles, essays and reviews on general newspapers, websites, catalogues regarding artists, artworks and the gallery; liaising with gallery artists; arranging loans in Italy and abroad; catalogues and inventories preparation; set-up and drop-off of exhibitions and art fair booths; preparation of visitors path labels along the gallery exhibition space; assistance to the Artistic Director for the organization of sales and exhibition activities with international partners (museums, artists, collectors, curators) in Italy and abroad; research work for exhibitions and publications; answering to general public and professional enquiries.
Among the recent projects I curated, I would like to highlight the following ones:
- The Emergence of POP imagist, group show in collaboration with the Jonathan LeVine Gallery (NYC), Venice, June 2011, catalogue preparation, show set up, collectors relationships
- La Natura Squisita, group show at the Stelline Foundation in Milan
- SCOPE art show, participation to the art fair, New York, March 2011, Miami December 2010, Basel June 2009
- SWAB art fair, Barcelona (Spain), 2009 – 2012
I am English and German proficient speaker and I understand and speak basic French and Spanish.
Briefly I would like to sum-up my education path: 2006 – 2008 Master Degree in Cultural Economics at the University of Bologna (major: visual and performing arts – two-year master degree); 2002 – 2006 Foreign Languages at the University of Verona (three-year BA); 2005 – 2006 Erasmus project in Salzburg (one-year research work).
I have an excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) for Windows and I use daily the iPhone and iPad systems. Moreover, I work daily with the most common Internet browsers and following applications: Windows Live Mail, Inkscape, Adobe Creator, basic Photoshop, Skype and Joomla platform, Google applications. I take care of the Facebook fan page of the gallery, the update of websites on Joomla host and Artcat host.
Accuracy, reliability and scheduling are a must in my life as well as in my professional attitude.
I am available to move for business, also abroad, for short and long stays.
