Sister Gothenburg is a non governmental organization and a network for DJs and producers and was established in november 2008. Sister connect Gothenburg to the already existing Sister network in Stockholm, Uppsala, New York, Portland and San Francisco. Sister works for equal oppurtunities between female and male DJs within the club scene. Sister creates oppurtunities for females to get gigs and also increases their contacts through collaboration with local, national and international organizers. Sister Gothenburg will also offer workshops and courses in DJ-ing, music production and club events.
