Créée en 1945, L’Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe est membre d’un réseau mondial fondé en 1884 et comptant 1085 associations de droit local. Les Alliances Françaises ont pour mission principale de diffuser la langue et la culture françaises. Depuis 1997, nous développons également au sein de EUNIC, réseau européen d’instituts culturels nationaux en Belgique, des projets européens multilatéraux, tant linguistiques que culturels.

Founded in 1945, the Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe is part of a world wide network dating back to 1884, to which 1085 associations adhere, which all work under local right.The assignement of the Alliances Françaises is mainly to disseminate French language and culture. Within EUNIC, a consortium of national cultural institutes represented in Belgium and created in 1997, we participate in the development of multilateral European projects in the linguistic as well as in the cultural field.
