The studio of van Pim Palsgraaf (1979) is located in the industrial section of Rotterdam. His love-hate relationship to this environment is fundamental for his art work. In his sculptures and drawings he shows the outgrowths of urban architecture. The monumental work is shown in the exhibition ‘Mycose’ at Kap Pur Gallery from Thursday March 21st 2011. The show will be opened at 7pm by Elly Stegeman, curator of the Stedelijk Museum ’s-Hertogenbosch where some pieces of Pim were shown during ‘The Nomadic Condition’.
Pim Palsgraaf graduated in 2003 (cum laude) at the Willem de Kooning Academy and will show his newest works. One of his works was reently added to the prestegious Achmea Art collection. The solo-show of Pim Palsgraaf will run until May 21st 2011.
