Call for Entries: 10th International Istanbul Biennial / "nightcomers"

The International Istanbul Biennial waits for your videos!
Deadline: June 15, 2007

Referring to “Dazibao,” a form of radically democratic street postings of public opinions during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, an “Electronic Image Daziba,” which consists of contributions of video works from professional and amateur artists via an open call and selected by a group of Turkish young curators, will be set up and travel across different sites during night time.

The young curator team of the Dazibao Project; Ovul Durmusoglu, Marcus Graf, Borga Kanturk, Pelin Uran and Adnan Yildiz named the project as “nightcomers.” The curators have made an open call for submissions of videos from all over the world. Out of the selected videos, the curators will build up two compilations which will be shown during the night time in different parts of Istanbul.

The Biennial accepts submissions until June 15, 2007. There is no submission fee.
