
The CPRA Stimulates academic research in the field of applied comparative cultural policy. It is open to academics under the age of 35, as well as researchers and policy-makers.
This award was initiated in 2004 by the European Cultural Foundation and the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and is developed in partnership and managed by ENCATC. The CPRA contributes to new competence building among young scholars in Europe and enhances appliead comparative research in cultural policy. The proposed research projects informs policy-making and benefit practitioners who are active in the field by offering policy recommendations on the cultural issues it analyses. A long-term goal is the development of a network of young cultural policy scholars.
Six promising young researchers became CPRA winners since 2004.
The CPRA is complemented by the annual Young Cultural Policy Researchers Forum and a Young Researchers On-line space.
