An organisation devoted to the 'study, practice, documentation, preservation and dissemination' of traditional music. Among other things, ICTM organises international conferences, study groups and colloquia, and publishes the Yearbook of Traditional Music and a biannual bulletin. It is especially of interest to European organisations involved in traditional music.
