This report gives an overview of the financial "output" of Austrian (bilateral) cooperation with Eastern Europe (27 states in Southeastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia) in the fields of education, health, infrastructure etc in the year 2003. Chapter 1 describes the general programme and objectives of Austrian support activities in Eastern Europe, using the example of the main grant-giving bodies (Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federal Ministry of Financial Affairs, Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture). Information and data on cooperation projects in the education and culture sectors is provided.
