One of the major NGOs promoting the study, research, and dissemination of history and cultural heritage in Turkey. It publishes books, organises seminars and leads projects. Examples of its activities include meetings of European and Turkish history teachers in Istanbul as well as conferences on museology and cultural heritage involving international participation.
