After staging more than 50 festivals, seminars and other events since 1979, Copenhagen International Theatre is now embarking on a new phase of work. The basic theme is the "METROPOLIS", focusing on the City as Stage and the Stage as City. The theatre also organises an ongoing development programme for contemporary circus, which includes a festival.
