Artistic Interactions and Intercultural Competences in the Mediterranean

An article that showcases key cultural initiatives and artists’ programmes created by and for young people in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The article aims to answer the following questions:

Can young artists help to achieve intercultural dialogue in the Euro-Mediterranean region?
Will the new approaches of the recently established Union for the Mediterranean be able to create and support platforms to enable young artists from the region to innovate and interact?
Are the current cultural policies of both governmental and non-governmental institutions in the region creating a haven to foster and encourage the creativity of young artists?
