
The UK branch of the Portuguese based Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, it encourages cross-border exchanges of experiences in transnational issues. The foundation works proactively to identify new partnerships and develop activities under its core themes. Non-profit organisations can apply for R&D funding for ideas that contribute to the the main aims: Cultural understanding, Fulfilling potential and Environment.
Support is given to projects in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, but may also involve European partners and/or result in good practices for other countries.
