The mission of the fund is to save the earth’s most significant and endangered cultural heritage sites in developing countries through scientific excellence and community involvement.
It focuses on sites with strong potential for tourism development that lack the resources for preservation and planned development. Over 90% of funding goes directly to on-site preservation and planned development projects, backed by the long-term support of local communities.
