Ana Žuvela is Research Fellow at the Institute for International Relations (IMO), Zagreb, Croatia.
Ms. Žuvela received a Honorary Bachelor of Music (piano) undergraduate degree from the University of Central England and holds an M.A. degree in Cultural Policy and Arts Management from the University College Dublin and is currently pursuing a PhD degree at the Unversity of Zagreb, Faculty of Political Sciences. Professional experience in culture ranges from artistic performance to arts administration, arts production and marketing, cultural management, international cultural collaboration, consultancy and research work.
Her research interests include the development of cultural policies and strategies,local cultural development, policy decision making and implementation processes, conceptual decentralisation of cultural policies.
She delivers lecture and has published numerous papers on the topics from the cultural policy field.
Mrs. Zuvela served as Advisor for Cultural Affairs at the City of Dubrovnik's Mayor's Office, is Co-Chair of the LabforCulture's Steering Committee and a member of Culturelink Network's Editorial Board.
