An independent public charity that supports the development of civil society in Central and Eastern Europe.
Funds in-country and cross-border initiatives that enhance trans-border cooperation, enrichment of cultural diversity, empowerment of marginalised and disadvantaged groups, cross-sectoral collaboration, cooperation between government and civil society, support to policy making processes, and so on. Supported by a group of private grant-making foundations, it opens general or thematic calls for proposals every year.
