The British Council's Arts team works to develop innovative, high-quality events and collaborations that link thousands of artists and cultural institutions around the world, drawing them into a closer relationship with the UK.
In collaboration with partner arts and cultural organisations, as well as practising artists and cultural leaders in the UK and around the world, it aims to promote the debate of issues and ideas by challenging opinions and increasing understanding between cultures.
The British Council is partner of the Artists International Development Fund that provides grants for artists to travel, explore and collaborate internationally while carrying out professional projects.
