The Centre for Cultural Policies was set up in 2002 to work out and promote reform strategies for Moldova's system of culture and to develop collaboration and partnership between governmental and non-governmental organizations in the field of cultural policy. The Centre publishes the magazine "Alternative" which seeks to involve operators in debating cultural policy issues. The Centre helped develop a Theatre Law in Moldova and launched work on a statute to govern the Moldova culture fund.
