I am French/American, brought up in England and currently residing in Paris. After my cultural and theatrical studies in London in the early 1990s, I went to Paris and was part of the Eurocreation team (an agency for young creators and entrepreneurs in Europe). From there, I became General Coordinator of “European Pépinières for Emerging artists”, a European interdisciplinary residency programme and more recently Secretary General of the “les rencontres” network, a forum for debate and exchange between elected leaders and senior policymakers in charge of culture in Europe. These experiences have enabled me to monitor the developments of the European process in relation to the cultural sector. During this time I have contributed to a number of reports and recommendations at European level on cultural policymaking and the setting up of a European cultural policy. I also have a Diploma in Specialised studies in intercultural management. I am currently General Coordinator of the Roberto Cimetta Fund, a fund for mobility of artists and operators to support artistic creation in the Mediterranean. I am also teaching at the IUT Bobigny, the IUT Sénart. I am an expert for the Leonardo, Gruntvig and Erasmus programmes.
