Creative Responses to a Disabling World explores the opportunities for young disabled people as creative professionals and, more generally, the opportunities for their social and cultural involvement. An examination of national models and of best practice from across Europe are provided to highlight the issues, what works, what are the barriers, etc. in order to see how innovative cultural and social environments can develop. In particular, it will consider the conflict between practice and policy and explore how European policy can have an impact on cultural and social provision at different levels.
