Alkantara Festival 2008 - Mundos em Palco / Worlds on Stage !

The Alkantara festival, between 22nd May - 8th June in Lisboa, shows artists worldwide and their multidisciplinary voices and approaches, many resulting of challenging international artistic collaborations.

In parallel, Alkantara will host several meetings from some innovative networks such as moveoutloud (internet platform for dance professionals), départs (young choreographers), next steps (international festivals), team network (transdisciplinary European art magazines) and the DBM – Mediterranean dance network.

Even if you will not be able to go to Lisbon to meet up with them, follow their website, and stay tuned to the ideas and cooperation projects that will be certainly coming out for the next two years, before the next edition of the Alkantara festival takes place.
