An international umbrella association representing the interests of the music publishing community globally, ICMP also has a specifically European committee. As well as lobbying, it concerns itself with such issues as the protection of copyright and the negotiation of licensing terms for musical works. Of particular interest is a website on internet music piracy called 'pro music'.
