The Belarusian Collegium is an unique organisation, established to 'grow' future intellectual elites. It works on university principles, but is not officially registered as a university. It can, therefore, offer only supplementary studies & degrees (studies last 3 years, students can obtain bachelor and master degrees). The BC offers free-of-charge education in 3 faculties (philosophy/literature + journalism + modern history). The lecturers are leading Belarusian scientists, historians, philosophers and writers. The Collegium currently has about 100 students.
