A global network of independent non-profit organisations dedicated to advancing experimental sound cultures, music and related arts. It aims to support its members in building up sustainable infrastructures to support, promote and sponsor experimental and critical sound cultures within their specific localities and contexts.
As a global creative platform for self-reflection and learning, it calls on its members to reinvent, question, inspire and challenge each other, through collaboration rather than competition. The network promotes the exchange of knowledge regarding topics as varied as education, transcultural dialogue, audience participation, research, artistic experimentation and technological innovation, social practice, emerging talent and local scenes, fair business practice and polycentricity.
