This organisation was founded in 1995 to support and promote young writers and poets.
Lately the society has switched its activities to the organisation of an annual festival of pop music to spot new, young talent. So far, it has run 11 festivals under the name of "Steaua Chisinaului" (Star of Chisinau). In 2005 the organisation is publishing a youth literary and arts magazine "Phoenix".
