The site gives an overview of German cultural policy and links to diverse German cultural organisations and institutions, projects, events and databases (Kulturdatenbank), including the listing of the German regional authorities in charge of culture. It is run under the auspices of the Federal Chancellery and Minister of State and Commissioner for Cultural and Media Affairs (BMK).
