The document provides figures on the financial aspects of international cultural relations in Spain, including the balance of payments for the cultural sector and central government expenditure on international cultural activities. The relevance of individual cultural sectors and world regions, including the EU, is analysed. It was produced in the framework of the task force set up by Real Instituto Elcano to examine the present state and future perspectives of international cultural relations in Spain.
