The third Cinemaztlán Mexican film festival opens this week in Amsterdam. The opening night is at Studio K, and the film opening the festival, ”Voy a explotar” (I’m going to explode) will have the lead actress of the film Maria Deschamps, making a guest appearance, doors open from 7.30pm

On the 1st November at the Paradiso the "Day of the Dead event will kick off. The dress code is “Catrinas and Dandies”, so get your glad rags on and enjoy the Mexican underground band Nine Rain, a performance of La Dentona and cocktails and nibbles starting from 8.30pm.
