A Berlin-based fine art TV broadcaster dedicated to presenting art in video form, as visual narratives, produced in close cooperation with curators and artists.
ikonoTV aims to break barriers and open up a dialogue that transcends linguistic boundaries. Through moving image, social networks and new technology, it aims to bridge the gap between the established art world and the global public.
The website blog offers news and reviews and ikonoTV also has a monthly open call for artists to send new work. The submission deadline is the 30th of each month.
Broadcasts started in November 2010 in Northern Africa, the Middle East and South Asia, and plan to expand to Europe before the end of 2011.
