Koleva Petya

I am a consultant for project development of international arts and culture initiatives, sometimes a project manager too. As an expert on European programmes and policy for education and culture my particular focus is on creativity and intercultural dialogue.
In the last 12 months I have acted as an evaluator for EC Framework Seven Programme, EC EuropeAid European Neighbourhood Policy Instrument, as a consultant to the National Fund for Culture Bulgaria, as a trainer for Fabrikata and Art Office in BG and as BG partner to the UE® arts consultancy initiative in Romania. As a manager of Intercultura Consult, I guide relevant applications for the BG cohesion funds and SEE intercultural partnerships as well as challenging educational or creative partnerhips proposal.

For a number of years, I was based in Amsterdam and worked as project manager of the European League of Institutes of the Arts.I have also acted as an external evaluator for the European Commission and have offered international trainings on project proposal writing and fundraising for arts/culture projects.

One recent initiative that I would liek to share is the Innovation Arts and Culture project '07. It created a European exchange and dialogue platform on strategies for the development of the cultural sector, the arts education sector and the creative industries. The Innovation Arts and Culture ’07 publication of the project is available as free PDF download at inter-cultura.eu.

This is being answered in the outcomes of a Socrates Thematic Network project entitled Tradition of the New. The inter}artes outcome was extended to include an Innovation Arts and Culture project co-sponsored by ELIA and the ECF.
