Council of Europe, in co-operation with the European Commission, European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), Culture Action Europe, The Budapest Observatory, International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA), Allianz Kulturstiftung and the European Cultural Foundation launches the international conference "Culture and the policies of change" (6 - 7 September 2010, in Brussels), supported by the "Communauté française" of Belgium and the Ministry of Culture of Slovenia.
Senior policy makers, practitioners and researchers operating at national, regional and local levels will engage in reflection on new perspectives of cultural policies in the light of major world changes and challenges.
