During the period from 10 to 24 August, which traditionally marks the anniversary of the Baltic Way, festival VIA BALTICA will be held in Liepāja, Latvia.
Liepāja this year has invited together best musicians from Baltic sea region who will provide a high purity chamber music concerts creatively-made programs. VIA BALTICA 2011 shows many musical expressions and presents music ranging from classical chamber music as well as new music, jazz and experimental cross-cultural works. Festival concept includes photo exhibition and new media art performances.

Festival aims to create in near future a meeting platform for experienced musicians, young talents and for festival organizers from all Baltic Sea regions.
