Founded during the siege of Sarajevo in 1994, this was the first foreign cultural centre in the city. It organises French, Italian, and Spanish courses throughout the year and also several cultural activities including translation, cinema workshops, artists-in-residence programmes and exhibitions.
For the past nine years, wide-ranging events such as the European Writers Festival have taken place, attracting numerous international and local artists.
