An annual festival that originated in Bagnolet, on the outskirts of Paris, as a competition for "new dance".
It offers a space and a laboratory for artists to meet, discuss and reflect upon dance, choreography and aesthetics. The programme pays special attention to building a relationship with audiences, investing in artistic education and promoting contemporary dance.
The 2009 edition of the festival will happen between 11 May and 5 June.
