A European network for performing arts focusing on early childhood. It provides a structure for meeting, sharing expertise and exchanging knowledge, as well as a platform for developing collaborative projects and disseminating information and research.
Small Size aims to promote awareness about the significance of performing arts for children aged 0 to 6 with objectives that include increasing children’s creative potential and by comparing different European cultural traditions.
It also supports the development of training and educational programmes for early years educators and artists. The website offers a database including European boards, associations and companies focusing on early childhood, a calendar of events, a library, a newsletter and useful links.
