A network that aims to foster and disseminate the creative capacity of urban spaces. The initial network consists of 14 medium-sized cities and urban spaces that are representative of Europe's cultural diversity. It aims to set up a permanent system for professional mobility and exchange within visual arts, involving artists, cultural operators, educational institutions and the general public.
CreArt launched the European Day of Artistic Creativity, which is an initiative to promote creativity as one of the basic elements of individual development and a key element of creating a European identity. The aim is to celebrate artistic creativity across Europe for one day of the year. This will include activities in museums, public and private cultural institutions, visual arts centres, art schools, galleries, schools, etc.
The European Day for Artistic Creativity will allow artists and the public to interact and communicate through the language of art, and will serve as a springboard for new and original ideas, aimed at the general public, professionals and institutions.
