The UMASS Amherst Center for Heritage and Society is scheduling an online course on 'Safeguarding intangible heritage'. This course will be held from May 16 to June 6 and can be attended remotely by anyone interested in intangible heritage. This course aims to equip participants with an understanding and a working appreciation of both theoretical and operational approaches to intangible cultural heritage. It also aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to safeguard intangible heritage in full cooperation with concerned communities.The deadline for registration is May 1st.
