A study commissioned by the European Parliament, which describes the various sources of financing culture in Europe for the period 2000-2005, focusing on the state, the market and the non-profit sector. The analysis covers subsidies, awards and grants, as well as lottery funds provided by central and lower levels of governments, tax expenditures, and private financial support from non-profit organisations, business organisations and individual donations.
