Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VI) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH), have asked the US Trade Representative to make public the text of the secret Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. More information and the letter that was sent can be found on Knowledge Ecology International.

ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) is an international framework set up with the aim of enforcing and improving intellectual property laws worldwide. It allows borders and customs police to look through your files on your laptop or PDA for pirated material, and forces Internet Service Providers to provide information about suspected copyright infringers without a warrant (which helped the music industry to sue users and to shut down filesharing websites).
